Job summary

Bosch Group is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in the United States to troubleshoot and repair automatic, robotic, and CNC machinery across production lines.

The role requires solid experience with PLCs, CNC controls, and robot systems, including setting up HMIs and servo controls. Expect hands-on work with Fanuc and Denso robots and a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years experience in a similar manufacturing environment with control systems, PLCs, CNC controls, robots, and HMIs.
• Working knowledge of prints, schematics, and equipment documentation for installation, modification and repair.
• Familiarity with machine communications including LAN cables and components.
• Ability to work safely in electrical control panels up to 480 volts 3-phase using PPE; demonstrated in practical.
• Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Robot operation certificate to operate and teach robots is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, and repair all aspects of Automatic, Robotic, and CNC machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair Automated Paint Lines, Setting Presses, Automated Welders, CNC Grinders, Robots, and other complex machinery.
• Duties may include: supporting all aspects of equipment and machinery; including PLC programming and program modifications, programming of HMI’s and servo controllers.
• Jog, and reset Fanuc and Denso Robots.
• Teach / Touch up Robot positions to correct material handling paths.
• Plan and install primary and secondary controls, diagnose electrical/electronic problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules, test units for proper function, and make final adjustments.
• Prepare wiring diagram to record changes.
• Make mechanical repairs as necessary. Some work and repairs require mechanical repairs, and all techs do this no matter of pay grade.
• Support the daily continuous improvement activities.
• Enter all work completed / in progress into SAP work order system.
• Any Other duties as deemed necessary to support production.
