Kodak Moments Colorado (KMC) is seeking an Automation / Robotics Engineer with 3+ years of experience to drive automation initiatives for finishing and packaging manufacturing operations. The role partners with engineers, operators, mechanics, technicians, and vendors to design, program, install, and support automated systems.

The position emphasizes integration of robots, PLCs, sensors, and vision systems, day-to-day manufacturing support, and creating comprehensive documentation and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics engineering (or related field)
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with process automation and control systems

Responsibilities

• Design, program, debug, test, install, and support automated manufacturing systems and equipment to drive continuous improvement.
• Integrate robots, PLCs, pneumatics, sensors, actuators, and vision systems for packaging and handling processes.
• Provide day-to-day support for manufacturing operations.
• Create documentation and deliver technical training on equipment and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
• Integrate purchased and custom-designed equipment solutions.
• Support cost reduction and efficiency improvement projects.
• Provide electrical, mechanical, software, and control systems expertise.
• Support product commercialization teams.
