Job summary

Subway Group is seeking a Testing & Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI, API, and backend services across applications. You will work with Software Engineers, Product, and DevOps to embed quality early in accelerated AI-assisted cycles.

The role requires extensive experience with automation tools, test scripting, REST APIs, and CI/CD practices, ensuring high-quality delivery and robust test coverage across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing/automation experience.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks.
• Ability to read/write/debug test code or scripts.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI, API, and backend services across apps and platforms.
• Collaborate with Eng, Product, and DevOps to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and enhance test-automation frameworks and tooling; integrate tests into CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
• Identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and work with teams on fixes.
• Apply functional-quality release-readiness criteria and report coverage and defects.
