Job summary

VSB Tech Consulting Services in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an Automation QA with strong Playwright and TypeScript expertise to join a hybrid work model (2 days per week onsite).

You will drive test automation strategy, build robust scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality in Agile environments, including API and backend data validation with SQL and tools like Postman.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA automation and software testing experience.
• Hands-on Playwright with TypeScript expertise.
• Experience with API testing using Postman/Playwright API testing.
• Strong SQL/database validation in MySQL.
• Salesforce Sales Cloud testing experience is a plus.
• CI/CD in Agile environments and Jira familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute Playwright/TypeScript automation tests.
• Detect and report bugs and glitches.
• Review and analyze system specifications.
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop test plans and processes.
• Implement test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Evaluate product code against specifications.

Job description

Role: Automation QA- (Playwright)

Location Charlotte, NC, USA Hybrid 2 days/Week

Visa Preferably Visa Independent Candidates based out of Charlotte.

Jd

5+ years of experience in QA Automation and Software Testing, with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright using TypeScript

Proven experience leveraging Gen AI and Agentic AI based automation using tools such as GitHub Copilot, VS Code, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and similar AI-assisted development platforms

Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, test strategy, test design, and CI/CD integration in Agile environments

Well-versed in Agile/Scrum methodologies, actively collaborating with cross-functional teams and tracking work using Jira

Extensive experience in API test automation (RESTful services) using tools/frameworks like Playwright API testing, Postman, or similar

Hands-on experience with database testing using MySQL, including data validation and backend verification

Experience testing Salesforce (SFDC) Sales Cloud platform would be added advantage, including functional, integration, and regression testing

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving test efficiency, quality, and automation coverage.
