Job summary

Sightview Software is seeking an Automation Engineer with 5–7 years of QA exposure to build and run automated tests for web, API and backend systems. You will implement and maintain test scripts, drive regression coverage, and help reduce manual testing while improving overall product quality.

The role involves collaborating with distributed teams and US-based stakeholders, following coding standards, and contributing to automation framework enhancements.

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems.
• Convert manual test cases into automation to improve regression coverage.
• Assist in identifying areas suitable for automation.
• Follow established coding standards and QA best practices.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze test results.
• Support CI/CD integration of tests (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• 5–7 years of QA experience with exposure to automation.
• Hands-on with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with API testing (Postman).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• SQL/database testing knowledge.
• Git version control experience.
• Good communication and teamwork; AI-driven testing is a plus.
