Job summary

KNOWiNK in St. Louis, MO is seeking a mid-level Software Quality Assurance Engineer to help build and maintain automated test suites across web, mobile, and API platforms. You will collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure testability from the start and improve overall quality.

You will design tests, contribute to automation coverage, participate in regression testing, and help advance QA processes while working within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on software QA experience with automation.
• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Scripting or programming in Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured and building automated API tests.
• Comfort in CI/CD pipelines and designing tests for automation.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for features, releases, and hotfixes across web, mobile, and API platforms.
• Own regression, integration, smoke, and performance testing through automation, expanding coverage as the platform grows.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines so quality is checked on every build.
• Use manual and exploratory testing where automation does not yet cover edge cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear communication through to resolution.
• Partner with developers and product managers on requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Help document QA processes and contribute to testing standards, aiming to automate repetitive tasks.
• Contribute to QA metrics and communicate quality trends across the team.
