Job summary

CBTS is seeking a Quality Engineer / Automation Tester for a 6-month W2 contract in Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on test automation, API/data testing, and Agile practices, designing automation frameworks and executing plans for Java/Python APIs, Kafka data flows, and web apps.

Responsibilities include building regression suites, crafting Cucumber/Gherkin scenarios, and executing tests with Selenium, JUnit/TestNG, Maven, and Jenkins. Strong collaboration and problem-solving are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building automation frameworks and regression suites.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and regression suites.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and BDD scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver/Grid, JUnit/TestNG, Maven, Jenkins CI/CD.
• API and web services testing using SOAP UI, XML, and REST/SOAP.
• Exposure to Kafka and Big Data technologies.
• Work effectively within Scrum/Kanban Agile teams and ceremonies.
• Configure and execute automated regression suites through Jenkins pipelines.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
