Job summary

Brock Solutions is seeking an Automation Project Manager for its Irving, TX office. You will lead multi-discipline engineering teams, drive real-time automation projects, and ensure alignment with client goals while balancing budgets and timelines.

This role supports flexible work arrangements (home, office, on-site) and requires travel around 30%. You will collaborate with engineers, manage scope, and uphold quality through established processes to deliver impactful, real-time solutions.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in a relevant field.
• Experience as a project manager is an asset.

Working with other highly motivated Engineers, you will take on a project manager role, implementing real time control system and automation solutions in a critical operational capacity.

Responsibilities may include:

• Lead multi-discipline engineering teams to project success
• Financial responsibility on projects between $500k and $15M
• Managing the clients' expectations and communication needs to the project team
• Managing scope internally (with the project team) and externally (with the client)
• Managing resource assignments and utilization for all assigned resources
• Creation and management of project schedules
• Ensuring harmonious working relationships with our key partners
• Identifying risks and roadblocks to the successful completion of the project and work with Management to resolve
• Ensuring quality of the end solution through implementation of our standard project and development processes

Qualifications Required:

• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role on automation projects
  • Controls, electrical, mechatronics, mechanical, industrial, or robotics engineering
• College diploma or University degree in a relevant field of study
• Experience as the project manager would be an asset
• Must be customer focused and action oriented
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively in a team based project environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project is an asset
• This position does require travel (approximately 30%)
