Job summary

Emerson in Novi, MI is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead automation and controls projects from kickoff to closeout. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources to deliver successful outcomes and serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.

You will coordinate with internal engineering, field, and commercial teams to meet objectives, track progress, and communicate risks and changes clearly, while ensuring adherence to safety

Qualifications

• PM experience in automation/controls environment
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and controls projects from kickoff through closeout
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to support successful delivery
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with internal engineering, field, and commercial teams to meet project objectives
• Track project progress and communicate status, risks, and changes clearly
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, safety standards, and Emerson quality procedures
• Support continuous improvement efforts and identify opportunities for follow on work
