Job summary
Schaeffler is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Seguin, Texas to oversee manufacturing equipment and processes. Responsibilities include monitoring performance, diagnosing faults, and guiding maintenance teams in troubleshooting and repairs.
You will develop and maintain process and equipment documentation and drive improvements in OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and FPY. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, CAD skills, programming knowledge, and at least 2 years in automotive manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling (AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Inventor).
- Knowledge of programming languages (C++, Visual Basic, Python, ladder logic).
- At least 2 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to assist after-hours remotely or in person as needed.
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Monitor equipment performance and respond to breakdowns; diagnose faults and repair.
- Lead maintenance technicians on troubleshooting and repairs.
- Prepare process and equipment documentation; validate setups and procedures.
- Plan and implement equipment modifications to improve OEE and MTBF.
- Support TPM programs with mentoring and training to peers.
