Job summary

PepsiCo Deutschland GmbH is hiring a Process Controller to serve as the nerve center of our automated warehouse operation. You will manage complex systems, resolve issues in real time, and guide teams to consistently meet production goals using advanced automation for future distribution.

The role demands experience with automation picking software and conveyor/palletizer operations, ensuring orders are released on time and downtime is minimized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; higher degrees preferred.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, production, warehousing, bottling, or food processing.
• 1+ year leading or coordinating production teams.
• 2+ years operating and troubleshooting automated production equipment or high-speed machinery.
• Proficiency in English and production software; ability to work flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Sunday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM and Mon–Thu 6:00 PM–2:00 AM, weekends off.
• Coordinate automated warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient production.
• Lead and support teams to achieve production and throughput targets.
• Oversee automated case-picking operations, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

As a Process Controller, you'll serve as the nerve center of our automated warehouse operation, managing complex systems, solving problems on the fly, and guiding your team to consistently meet production goals. The Process Controller oversees the automated case-picking system, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient production. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of automation picking software and conveyor/palletizer operations. The Tower Process Controller is responsible for coordinating production flow, troubleshooting issues, supporting other process controllers, and ensuring that customer orders are processed and released on time.

Process Controllers are accountable for overall system performance, driving closure of downtime events, proactively identifying potential rate loss areas, and implementing corrective actions. The role serves as the central link between other process controllers, maintenance, and management to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time and system throughput targets are achieved.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Sunday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM and Monday–Thursday 6:00 PM–2:00 AM, with Friday and Saturday off. Please note that the schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
• Coordinated automated warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production.
• Managed complex automation systems and resolved real-time operational issues.
• Led and supported teams in consistently achieving production and throughput targets.
• Oversaw automated case-picking operations, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
• Utilized automation software and conveyor/palletizer systems to optimize workflow.
• Monitored production flow, system performance, and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshot equipment and process issues while providing support to process controllers.
• Ensured timely processing and release of customer orders.
• Drove resolution of downtime events and minimized operational disruptions.
• Identified performance gaps and implemented corrective actions to improve productivity.
• Collaborated with maintenance, operations, and leadership teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Maintained focus on on-time order fulfillment and achievement of throughput goals.
• Supported continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

• The expected compensation range for this position is between $39,500 - $63,100.
• Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
