Job summary

Isola Group in Ridgeway, SC is hiring a PLC Control Engineer to set up, edit, test, troubleshoot and implement computer control systems used for production automation. You will help design systems for the production line and improve efficiency.

You will work hands-on with production teams, require 3-5 years PLC experience (Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi), and a bachelor’s degree in engineering. This safety-sensitive role includes pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in engineering, controls or mechanical preferred.
• 3–5 years of continuous PLC work experience.
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi is required; Siemens preferred.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs, installs, optimizes and adapts electronic control systems for automation.
• Develops process diagrams, block diagrams and schematics for automation controls.
• Configures systems using PLC and HMI techniques.
• Tests, troubleshoots and implements improvements to production lines.
