Job summary

Cinter Career in Plano, Texas is seeking an Automation Platform Developer to design, implement, and maintain automation features with Python, working onsite to support automotive multimedia tooling.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, perform debugging and testing, and contribute to continuous improvement of automation platforms, with a contract that can extend each fiscal year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8 years of Python scripting/development experience.
• Total professional experience should not exceed 10 years.
• Experience working in Agile software development.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain automation platform features using Python.
• Support the Lead Developer with coding, debugging, testing, and technical implementation.
• Provide technical support for internal users of automation tools.
• Investigate software issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement practical solutions.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain automation software used for automotive multimedia head units.
• Perform software testing and quality assurance to ensure reliable system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve automation tools and workflows.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for automation development and support processes.
