Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Multi-Machine Operator to join our team in North Carolina. This role provides control and interface with multiple machines in an automated warehouse, ensuring peak performance and accurate material movement for PBV's operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and working knowledge of human–machine interfaces. You will troubleshoot, maintain safety, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of forklift operation experience preferred.
• Must be able to safely operate PBV Material Handling Equipment.
• 1 year of Automation/Production Machine operation experience outside PBV Warehouse Automation or a minimum of 3 months within PBV.
• Must have skillset of Computer/Human Machine Interface.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Must have good math, writing, and reading skills.
• Must be able to successfully complete the forklift assessment.
• Must have good mechanical skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Works with multiple machine and system interfaces and operations.
• Operator level machine/system fault identification, troubleshooting, issue correction, cleaning and maintenance.
• Uses material handling equipment to move product and materials to and from designated locations or manual, machine and automated case pick operations in an efficient and safe manner.
• Maintains a safe and organized work area.
• Ensures accuracy and quality of work.
• Other duties as assigned.
