Job summary

Plexus Corp. in the United States is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer intern to support design, development and sustainment of advanced manufacturing solutions, including robotics, PLCs and sensors.

You will collaborate across teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver practical improvements. The role targets students pursuing an Engineering degree, with GPA preference and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering program for entire duration of internship.
• GPA: 3.0 or higher is preferred
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions using Plexus standard processes and team.
• Develop POC prototypes for new programs and tooling for automated production processes.
• Architect and develop software and system concepts to satisfy the requirements.
• Lead programming and development of software and electrical capabilities.
