Wistron InfoComm USA is seeking an Automation Engineering Engineer to lead automation project introduction and maintenance in our Fort Worth, TX facility. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and improve automated systems to maximize uptime and production efficiency while collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in automation/electrical/mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years in automation system implementation, maintenance, or automated manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, robotics, and vision systems.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting PLCs, sensors, motors, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and CAD drawings; CAD tools preferred.
  • Strong project management and cross‑functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate installation, relocation, commissioning, and integration of automation equipment.
  • Lead calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance to maintain uptime.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform RCCA, and implement PDCA actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and vendors to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Support production line changes, tooling modifications, and process improvements.
  • Implement maintenance best practices to minimize downtime and ensure readiness.

Position Summary :

The Automation Engineering Engineer is responsible for automation project introduction, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting management and automated systems used in electronics manufacturing. This position ensures maximum uptime, reliability, and performance both of team and machinery to meet production and quality objectives, while driving customer collaboration and introducing cutting‑edge technologies to the manufacturing process. Automation Engineering collaborates closely with manufacturing teams cross to manufacturing engineering, operation, and quality teams to support continuous improvement and safe, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Coordinate the installation, relocation, commissioning, and integration of automation equipment, vision inspection systems, and related technologies for new production lines.
  • Lead automation equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure stable operations.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform RCCA, and implement corrective and preventive actions using the PDCA methodology.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to improve equipment performance, reliability, and production efficiency.
  • Support production line changes, tooling modifications, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Implement maintenance best practices to minimize unplanned downtime and ensure production readiness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in automation system implementation, equipment maintenance, or automated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation technologies, robotics, vision systems, and related production equipment.
  • Hands‑on experience troubleshooting PLCs, sensors, motors, conveyors, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and CAD designs; experience with SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD preferred.
  • Strong project management, communication, and coordination skills; proficiency with
