Job summary

Hirebridge is seeking an Automation Engineer to program PID control loops for full plant automation, troubleshoot control systems, and support field communications. The role includes training operators and coordinating with IT to maintain data historians and backups.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a 2-year technical degree with 5+ years' experience, plus proficiency in DeltaV/Rockwell PLCs and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field; or a 2-year technical related degree and 5+ years equivalent experience.
• Experience defining correlations between like/associated equipment and understanding control relationships.

Responsibilities

• Program PID loops to automate plant systems and subsystems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain control systems and field communication equipment.
• Learn and apply DeltaV, Rockwell, or other PLC programming logic.
• Maintain data servers and plant historian data for operations and regulatory agencies.
• On-call coverage for 24/7 operation as directed by Production Manager.
