Job summary

Accounting Search in Boston seeks a Manufacturing Systems Controls Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automation systems across facilities. You will work with Rockwell, Wonderware, and SQL environments while collaborating with plant operations to optimize performance.

Travel to all facilities for project work and start-ups, train site technicians, and develop clear maintenance instructions. Strong communication, problem-solving, and willingness to fly are essential.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of industrial automation programming concepts.
Solid knowledge of electrical concepts and theories.
Familiarity with WAN and LAN computer networks.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information to groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Ability to apply logical/scientific thinking to problems.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Develop, integrate, and maintain manufacturing equipment controls systems and automation networks.
Travel to all facilities to assist with project work and start-ups.
Collaborate with site Control Technicians for troubleshooting and training.
Develop relationships with Plant Operations to optimize systems and output.
Create written maintenance instructions for automation systems.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to fly.
