Job summary

Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) is seeking an Automation Solutions Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama. This role focuses on implementing automation for certificate lifecycle management and related tasks to support Cyber Operations and Cyber Defense teams.

Responsibilities include designing and deploying low-code automation, integrating with eMASS/Jira/SharePoint, and developing tests and documentation.

Qualifications

7+ years related experience with a high school diploma or GED
2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in STEM/IT or related field
2+ years of automation development or systems integration, esp. with Power Platform or Vantage
2+ years of scripting or programming knowledge (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript)
Secret Clearance required; background and drug screening
Experience with DoD or federal programs is highly desirable

Responsibilities

Implement low-code/no-code automation solutions and workflow tools to streamline manual tasks.
Design automated equipment and machinery used to complete otherwise manual processes.
Implement automated tests to evaluate integrity of automated systems.
Integrate automation with systems like eMASS, Jira, and SharePoint for reporting and workflow synchronization.
Develop automation solutions using platforms such as Power Platform or ServiceNow.
Train operations staff in the use and maintenance of the automations developed.
