PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and startup of automation systems for cGMP processes in our Bedford, NH site. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
- 8–10 years of automation engineering experience in pharma preferred.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs/SCADA, field instrumentation, and NEC electrical concepts.
- Knowledge of cGxP and 21 CFR Part 11 in control system implementations.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and startup of automation systems for cGMP processes.
- Perform troubleshooting and investigations of deviations and anomalies in automation systems.
- Maintain FactoryTalk Historian OSI PI and local data solutions and backups.
- Prepare RFQs and evaluate supplier quotations for technical and cost effectiveness.
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
- Write cGxP documentation including SOPs, change controls, and deviations.
- Provide 24/7 on‑call support as required.
