C&J Industries, a full-service plastic injection molding contract manufacturer and FDA-certified medical device producer, is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our team. You will design, implement, and optimize automation systems to improve production efficiency and product quality.

You'll program PLCs, SCADA, and robotics, collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to meet schedules, review process data, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mchanical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
• Proven experience with automation systems in manufacturing, preferably plastics.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings (2D/3D CAD).
• Knowledge of robotics, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate automation developments, scheduling, and design improvements.
• Review customer information to determine automation requirements.
• Track budgets and monitor delivery dates for automation projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues to minimize downtime.
