Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Automation Engineer to build integrations and automations for customs onboarding. You’ll work closely with Customs Business Development, brokerage operations, and client teams to turn business requirements into working solutions—from API/EDI data flows to bespoke automations—for large accounts.

This role emphasizes rapid delivery on a small team, high impact, and a compliance-first approach to operate in a regulated industry.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of automations, integrations, or software experience in a data-rich environment.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or Python for data transformation, business logic, and dynamic queries.
• Advanced SQL and REST API experience (GraphQL a plus).

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain production-grade integrations and automations using Retool, n8n, Python/Streamlit, Apps Script, and SQL.
• Partner with Customs BD, operations, and business units to translate business requirements into technical requirements and solutions.
• Own the rollout, monitoring, and iteration of the tools you build, with an eye on reliability and client impact.
