Plexus Corp. is seeking an Automation Engineer to join the manufacturing automation team in Buffalo Grove, IL.

You will identify, develop, deploy, and maintain automation solutions across Plexus value stream to improve quality, efficiency, and velocity in Plexus manufacturing operations. The role requires collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams, strong analytical skills, and experience with lab tools and measurement equipment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills; familiarity with SPC software.
• Proactive and able to work in a cross-discipline team environment.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand Structured Design and develop good working relationships with team members and customers.

Salary Range:

$70,600.00 - $105,800.00

Purpose Statement:

The automation team identifies, develops, deploys, and maintains automation solutions across the Plexus value stream to improve quality, efficiency, and velocity in Plexus manufacturing operations, encompassing design, development, analysis, production, and commercialization.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Develops manufacturing solutions/ provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements.
• Utilizes appropriate tools and equipment to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification.
• Demonstrates a clear, discipline-specific understanding of the full Plexus manufacturing processes/ product requirements & specifications as it applies to their role.
• Successfully executes responsibilities in adherence to Plexus' manufacturing processes
• Produces comprehensive project documentation based on the needs of the project and in accordance with the quality and change management procedures and guidelines, as it applies to their role.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 1 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
