Job summary

Technimark seeks a qualified automation leader in Latrobe, PA to drive purchasing, design, and deployment of automation equipment across manufacturing operations. You will identify cost-saving opportunities, troubleshoot existing systems, and coordinate projects with outside suppliers to meet production timelines.

The role emphasizes safety, process improvement, and hands-on start-up support to optimize productivity and quality throughout the division.

Qualifications

• College degree or 5+ years IM Processing experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Understanding of manufacturing safety practices.
• Familiarity with Standard Method of Work principles.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work with production teams, management, engineers, and outside suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the purchasing and design of automation equipment for manufacturing operations.
• Identify automation-driven cost-saving opportunities and present results to management.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing automation equipment.
• Coordinate automation projects with outside suppliers and vendors.
• Develop specifications and requirements for new automation equipment.
• Review and approve designs for new automation machines and systems.
