Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. Application Developer designs, develops, implements, and maintains automation solutions that improve reliability, security, and efficiency of software delivery and IT operations.

This role provides automation resources across DevOps, configuration management, and CI/CD practices. You'll collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, operations, and business teams to identify automation opportunities, deliver reusable solutions, and ensure SDLC compliance while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Working knowledge of Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Proficiency with Git and source-control practices.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts.
• Basic understanding of APIs and system integration.
• Familiarity with containers and container orchestration.
• Understanding of software development and testing fundamentals.
• Ability to document technical processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation capabilities using Ansible Automation Platform and other industry-standard technologies.
• Automate application deployment, infrastructure configuration, environment management, testing, verification, and operational processes.
• Design reusable solutions that are version-controlled, tested, documented, reusable, and maintainable.
• Collaborate with teams across development, QA, infrastructure, operations, and business functions.
• Contribute to automation strategy by establishing reusable patterns, improving engineering standards, and helping teams adopt automation capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with Client Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
