Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical design experience with a 3D parametric CAD platform.
• Familiar with servo and stepper motors and pneumatic actuators.
• Knowledge of electrical components and PLCs.
• Experience with extrusion framing systems and fixtures.
• PCB design and embedded software development are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing new automation platforms to improve throughput and quality of our production processes.
• Assembly and qualification of custom automation platforms for use by operators.
• Integration of automation platforms with OEM lab equipment.
• Maintaining and updating existing automation platforms.
• Working cross-functionally with our R&D team to generate requirements that solve real problems.
