Quantum Sky Engineering LLC is seeking an Automation Engineer to build and maintain the automation backbone for CGIC and the BD organization. You will connect GovDash, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, CRM, and AI tools to improve discovery, routing, and reporting of growth opportunities.

This hands-on role translates BD, capture, proposals, contracts, and executive reporting needs into scalable automations with human review and approval controls. Collaboration with multiple teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in automation engineering or workflow automation.
• Experience with Power Platform and SharePoint, plus APIs and webhooks.
• Hands-on with ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Azure OpenAI or similar.
• Strong communication and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure GovDash workflows for intake, qualification, approvals, routing, and reporting.
• Automate BD and capture processes, create dashboards and executive reports.
• Build SharePoint structures and AI-friendly workspaces for content reuse.
• Integrate GovDash, CRM, SharePoint, Teams, and other tools via APIs and connectors.
• Enable AI tools for RFP analysis, summarization, and model validation.
• Support AI/ML workflows including classification, metadata extraction, and forecasting.
• Develop dashboards for pipeline, win rate, and proposal efficiency.

Quantum Sky is searching for a Automation Engineer, CGIC & BD AI Automation. This role will Build and maintain the automation, data, AI, and workflow backbone for the Contract Growth Innovation Center (CGIC) and broader Business Development organization. The role connects GovDash, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, CRM, opportunity sources, dashboards, ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Azure OpenAI, GovDash AI agents, and AI/ML workflows to improve how the company discovers, qualifies, routes, pursues, reports, and learns from growth opportunities. This is a hands-on technical role for someone who can translate BD, capture, proposal, contracts, and executive reporting needs into scalable automations with human review and approval controls.

Responsibilities:

• Configure GovDash workflows for intake, qualification, PulseScore/bid-no-bid support, approvals, routing, proposal execution, dashboards, and knowledge management.
• Automate BD and capture processes: opportunity ingestion, workspace creation, alerts, schedules, trackers, gate reviews, decision logs, action logs, and executive reports.
• Build SharePoint structures, metadata, permissions, libraries, lists, and opportunity/proposal workspaces that support content reuse and AI retrieval.
• Integrate GovDash, CRM, SharePoint, Teams, GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, USASpending, Power BI, and internal trackers using APIs, webhooks, connectors, Power Automate, and scripts.
• Enable AI tools for RFP analysis, compliance extraction, document summarization, content matching, opportunity scoring, and executive reporting.
• Support AI/ML workflows for classification, metadata extraction, document intelligence, semantic search/RAG, forecasting, and model-output validation.
• Build dashboards and KPIs for pipeline, win rate, revenue, proposal efficiency, automation effectiveness, vehicle health, and growth forecasting.
• Test, troubleshoot, document, and improve workflows, AI outputs, data quality, user adoption, security, governance, and human-in-the-loop controls.

Relevant Tools and Platforms:

• CGIC / BD: GovDash, Deltek GovWin IQ, SAM.gov, FPDS, USASpending, CRM platforms, SharePoint, Teams, proposal/content repositories.
• Microsoft automation and data: Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Query, Dataverse, Lists, Excel, Planner/Project, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure AI Search, Fabric, Data Factory.
• AI / LLM: ChatGPT / ChatGPT Enterprise, OpenAI API, Azure OpenAI, Claude / Anthropic, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Google Gemini, GovDash AI agents, custom agents, prompt libraries.
• AI/ML: RAG, embeddings, vector search, semantic search, classification, scoring models, OCR, document intelligence, model evaluation, feedback loops.
• Engineering/data: Python, SQL, PowerShell, REST APIs, webhooks, ETL, Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Jupyter, Git/GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jira, PDF extraction tools.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, data analytics, business technology, AI/ML, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in automation engineering, workflow automation, business systems, data operations, AI enablement, or systems integration.
• Experience with Power Platform, SharePoint, GovDash or similar workflow/automation platforms, plus APIs, connectors, webhooks, scripts, structured data, and metadata.
• Hands‑on use of ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or similar LLM tools; understand prompt templates, AI‑assisted summarization, document analysis, and human review.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; able to partner with BD, capture, proposal, contracts, technical, operations, and executive stakeholders.

Desired:

• Federal business development, capture, proposal operations, IDIQ, GWAC, BPA, CSO, OTA, CRADA, or GovCon experience.
• GovDash, Deltek GovWin IQ, SAM.gov, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar BD/capture platform experience.
• RFP/proposal automation, compliance matrices, content reuse, proposal workspace setup, gate reviews, and executive reporting.
• RAG, embeddings, vector search, semantic search, document intelligence, opportunity scoring, forecasting, and AI model evaluation.
• Power BI dashboards, responsible‑AI governance, role‑based access, auditability, secure data handling, Agile, DevOps, or product‑oriented delivery.

Compensation:

• Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $125,000-$150,000. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
