Job summary

Stefanini Group is hiring an Automation Engineer for a 2-month remote contract. The role emphasizes UI automation with Selenium and Playwright, Java and REST Assured, and building robust Page Object Models within an Agile team.

You will convert Selenium tests to Playwright, write complex feature files, support CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Maven/Ansible), and collaborate with AD/QA/DBAs to drive quality across sprints. W2 candidates only.

Qualifications

• 7 years of hands-on Selenium experience or 3–5 years in Protractor/Cucumber.
• 3–5 years creating Feature Files (Gherkin) for complex scenarios.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and ATDD/BDD/TDD.

Details: Stefanini Group is hiring! Stefanini is looking for Automation Engineer-Remote W2 Candidates Only! The candidate:

• Should have 7 years of real hands on experience on Selenium or 3-5 years of real hands on protractor/Cucumber experience is must
• Should have 3-5 years of hands one experience in creating Feature Files (Gherkin) for the complex scenarios
• Should be expert in JavaScript/Type Scripts
• Should have hands on experience in ATDD/BDD/TDD process
• Should have worked in Agile methodology and sprint cycles - Should have experience in developing SQL scripts with multiple joins
• Should have experience in analyzing issues and finding the root cause of the issue
• Should have a great personality, communication and written skills
• Should have great mind of finding defects in the Application under test
• Should have experience assessing the right candidate for the automation vs. manual test cases
• Should be a great team player to work with AD/QA/BSA/DBAs - Good to have experience in automated API testing using REST Assure or postman tools or SOAP testing
