Job description

Pour Cypress and Sauce Labs into work that survives contact with real traffic, and you'll fit right in as our junior Automation Engineer in Orlando. Sized right for 1 years of Sauce Labs, this FL role pays $54,000 - $80,000 and opens a path you actually want to walk.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate fuzzy product wishes from Nordstrom stakeholders into shippable Communication services
• Ship BrowserStack fixes to Nordstrom customers in Orlando, FL the same day they report them
• Mentor newer junior hires on how Nordstrom actually wires Persuasion together
• Tune Communication caching so Nordstrom survives the Orlando launch spike on the same hardware
• Own data integrity across Nordstrom's Mentoring stores so Orlando numbers never lie
• Reach into legacy Mocha modules and leave them cleaner than you found them

What You'll Bring

• Roughly 1+ years operating in a similar Automation Engineer position
• Proven leadership experience guiding junior-level initiatives
• A gently-demanding bias toward action, balanced by knowing when to wait
• Confident communicator across email, calls, and in-person meetings
• Around 1+ years of hands-on experience in a technology role
• Equal parts Sauce Labs depth and Pytest curiosity

Our team at Nordstrom is delightfully-weird, collaborative, and proud to call Orlando, FL home. We build psychological safety the boring way: by actually following through on what we say.

Beyond the $54,000 - $80,000 headline, we hand you a mentor, room to grow into junior work, and the freedom to shape your own week.

Right now in Orlando, the Automation Engineer chair sits open and the door is unlocked.
