Job summary

Regeneron is seeking an Automation Engineer to join the Automation team in Limerick. This role focuses on delivering end-user support for Small Manufacturing Equipment, developing and maintaining automation documentation, and acting as a trusted SME across departments to develop and enhance systems.

The position emphasizes compliance with development lifecycle processes, regulatory inspections, and audits, with opportunities to lead projects introducing new equipment and upgrades.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or higher in Science, Engineering, Instrumentation, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience preferred; substitution of experience for education allowed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-user support for Small Manufacturing Equipment applications, troubleshooting issues and communicating with management, business process owners and users.
• Develop and maintain automation documentation, including SOPs, work instructions and configuration specifications.
• Manage essential administrative tasks relating to functional support and user account administration.
• Serve as SME, collaborating with functional departments on projects to develop, implement and enhance systems.
• Implement software and hardware changes and upgrades with clear impact awareness on Manufacturing and Facilities.
• Provide support before, during and after Regulatory and Partner inspections.
• Participate in or lead projects to introduce new Small Manufacturing Equipment or upgrade existing applications.
• Work with Validation and Quality to ensure automation applications align with the development lifecycle.
• Lead and support security access and periodic audit trail reviews.

What Youll Do

• Delivering end-user support for Small Manufacturing Equipment applications, troubleshooting issues and communicating clearly with management, business process owners and users
• Developing and maintaining automation documentation, including SOPs, work instructions and configuration specifications.

• Serving as the trusted Subject Matter Expert (SME), working closely with functional departments on projects to develop, implement and enhance systems
• Implementing software and hardware changes and upgrades, with a clear understanding of their impact on Manufacturing and Facilities
• Providing support before, during and after Regulatory and Partner inspections
• Participating in, or leading projects to introduce new Small Manufacturing Equipment or upgrading existing applications
• Working with Validation and Quality to ensure automation applications for small manufacturing equipment are implemented in line with the development life cycle approach
• Leading and supporting security access and periodic audit trail reviews
