Menards Inc. is seeking an Automation Developer to design and build scalable automation solutions for enterprise infrastructure. You will develop Python modules, maintain Ansible playbooks, and manage AWX templates to automate provisioning and configuration.

The role emphasizes reducing manual processes, integrating systems, and delivering reusable automation frameworks. Located in Eau Claire, WI, this position requires relocation and offers pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a CS, programming or MIS field or equivalent work experience.
• Entry level or experienced proficiency with Linux shell, Python, Ansible, AWX workflows.
• Automation design, build, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Understanding of API integrations.
• Excellent design and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Develop and support reusable Python modules for infrastructure automation.
• Create and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate provisioning and configuration.
• Manage AWX job templates and workflows.
• Build containerized execution environments for automation.
• Develop self-service automation portal interfacing with backend automation workflows.
• Source control with Git/Bitbucket; conduct code reviews.
• Handle automation complexity across enterprise infrastructure systems and tools.
