Job summary

Vernovis, Ltd. is seeking an Automation Developer / Backend Software Engineer to build automation, integrations, data pipelines, and AI-powered solutions that reduce manual work and improve business processes.

This hands-on role focuses on backend development with strong Python skills and experience with OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, and API integrations. You will design end-to-end automation, develop AI-powered solutions, containerize with Docker, and deploy on Azure.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of software/backend development experience.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience building APIs, system integrations, and data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI and/or Anthropic (Claude) and LLM integrations.
• Understanding of RAG, embeddings, chunking, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with automation/workflow tools such as n8n, Zapier, Airflow, or similar.
• Experience with Docker and cloud environments, preferably Azure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Git and basic CI/CD practices.
• Ability to work independently, prototype quickly, and turn business problems into practical technical solutions.
