Qualifications

• 0-2 years of industry experience working with automation systems within a laboratory environment.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in life science or related field.
• Relevant internship experience or understanding of molecular biology, flow cytometry, genomic, or cell-based assays.
• Experience operating liquid handling instruments (e.g., Hamilton STAR) and knowledge of integrated systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot automation methods on standalone and integrated systems (Hamilton, Opentrons, HighRes, and supporting devices).
• Collaborate with senior team members to review the reservation calendar and minimize scheduling conflicts.
• Coordinate sample drop-offs and logistics with researchers to maintain lab schedules.
• Perform vendor-recommended instrument maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition.
• Maintain general laboratory housekeeping and safety practices.
