Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Control Technician in Lawrence, KS to lead installation, programming, troubleshooting, and repair of robotics and automated packaging equipment. You will support production and maintenance by designing solutions and managing automation projects, while mentoring other technicians and operators.

Qualified candidates will have extensive experience with ABB/Fanuc robotics, ABB Pick Master, and PLCs, plus a background in conveyors, blueprints, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with ABB and/or Fanuc robotics.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot spider pickers and robotic palletizers.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors and actuators.
• Develop training plans for technicians.
• Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets.
• Support internal IT needs with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform additional duties as required by management.
