Job summary

Heartline Staffing is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer for an onsite role in Enoch, Utah. The position focuses on design, programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of PLC-based automation systems used in manufacturing equipment.

Candidates must complete approximately 7 months of training in Korea starting in October and possess US passport to Korea. After training, the role is onsite five days a week in Enoch.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with PLC systems and control logic
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Understanding of sensors, actuators and industrial automation
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work onsite in Enoch, Utah after Korea training
• Training in Korea starting October is required

Responsibilities

• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based control systems for production equipment
• Modify and debug PLC programs
• Support MES integration, data collection, and system connectivity
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers, Production, and Quality teams
• Support safe operation of automated production equipment
• Identify opportunities for process automation and system upgrades
• Coordinate with vendors and external automation suppliers when required
