Job summary

Ceva Animal Health is seeking a PLC Controls Engineer to design, program, commission, and support industrial automation systems for hatchery and vaccine delivery equipment. You will be the primary PLC-based controls resource, interfacing with customers, project teams, and maintenance personnel to ensure reliable startup and long-term performance.

The role requires hands-on field work, extensive travel (up to 50%), and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering required.
• 3-8 years of experience in process control and industrial automation.
• Experience with PLC programming and industrial networking.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, test, and maintain PLC programs for automated equipment.
• Assist installations and commissioning at customer sites.
• Provide technical support including system upgrades and integration.
• Review electrical drawings and control narratives.
• Configure and troubleshoot HMI applications.
• Maintain software backups and change management docs.
• Participate in control system design reviews.
