Job summary

KSB GIW, Inc. is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer in Grovetown, GA, onsite. The role focuses on designing, developing, and testing advanced electromechanical systems for industrial pumping and mining applications.

You will build control architectures, program PLCs/HMIs, and support prototype development from concept through validation. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and suppliers to create reliable, scalable automation solutions, including lab and field tests

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years in machine or factory automation with hands-on controls and test experience.
• Practical experience with motor controls, drives, encoders, sensors, and industrial I/O.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements into control system designs (hardware and software).
• Specify and source PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors, encoders, sensors, I/O, contactors and related components.
