Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Solutions Design Engineer in North Reading, MA (Hybrid) to scale design efforts for a global material handling solution. You will build automation tools for the engineering team, partner with engineers to translate business needs into automated solutions, and create detailed drawings for various material handling systems.

The role requires 2+ years CAD experience, proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit/SolidWorks, and Python or C programming.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CAD experience in warehouse/logistics environment.
• Ability to write Python scripts to read/write CSV, JSON, XML and transform data.
• Experience creating drawings for material handling equipment and workspaces.

Responsibilities

• Build automation tools for the engineering team to optimize workflows.
• Partner with engineers to understand business needs and develop automation solutions.
• Create detailed drawings of material handling equipment, work areas and components.
• Develop drawing sets to standardize workspaces and designs across a global network.
• Support updates for design scaling across multiple building templates.
• Translate complex workflows into maintainable code.
