Job summary

Compunetix is seeking a PCBA Surface Mount Process Technician/Manufacturing Technician to support automated assembly processes at our Monroeville facility. You will assist in developing and monitoring production methods, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and create programs for Pick and Place machines and AOI systems.

The role requires hands-on operation of SMT equipment, program development for reflow profiles, and the creation of clear process documentation.

Qualifications

• 2-year Associates degree, preferably in a technical field.
• 2+ years direct experience as a PCBA Surface Mount Process Technician/ Manufacturing Technician
• Or 5+ years' experience in PCBA Automated Assembly Operations
• Good hand eye coordination and good visual acuity required
• Must pay very close attention to detail
• Able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, monitoring and improving automated assembly processes
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery
• Create programs for Pick and Place machinery and AOI, order SMT stencils, develop and operate reflow profiles
• Create and maintain process documentation
• Guide and assist machine operators in building products
