Job summary

Marmon Foodservice Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Automation & AI) in McAllen, TX. You will build and maintain IaC across hybrid Azure and on-prem environments, automate backups, and collaborate with IT and OT teams to secure and optimize manufacturing infrastructure.

The role emphasizes scripting in PowerShell/Python, CI/CD, and AI-enabled tooling support, plus strong cross‑functional communication and on-site responsibilities at the Texas facility.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of infrastructure engineering experience with hands-on Azure
• Experience writing or supporting IaC (Terraform, Bicep/ARM) with repeatable, version-controlled deployments
• Experience with configuration management and automation tooling (Ansible, PowerShell DSC, Power Automate)
• Strong scripting ability in PowerShell and/or Python
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and Git-based version control
• Understanding of identity and Zero Trust concepts (Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM, SSO)
• Exposure to OT/ICS environments or manufacturing automation is a plus
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required, including ability to communicate with manufacturing teams and vendors

Responsibilities

• Define, build, and maintain IaC across hybrid Azure and on-prem environments
• Support Azure implementations for compute, storage, networking, and identity
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes
• Design automation for backups and disaster recovery
• Support AI-enablement tooling and integration work
• Automate identity, access, and security workflows in Zero Trust initiatives
• Script and automate recurring IT operations using PowerShell and Python
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for automation, Azure, and manufacturing systems
• Collaborate with manufacturing and OT vendors to integrate factory floor systems
