Job summary

Piedmont Door Solutions in Houston, TX is seeking an Automatic Door Repair and Install Technician to support Houston and the surrounding area. You will install, repair, and maintain doors on commercial sites, hospitals, stores, and more.

We provide training, tools, equipment, and a company vehicle. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and comfort with power and hand tools.

Qualifications

• Must possess an unrestricted and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Education: Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Comfortable using power tools and hand tools - personally or professionally. Preference for carpentry, electric, military, HVAC, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other entrance or security products.
• Take initiative: Proactively assist in projects, demonstrating autonomy in a high-expectation, low-supervision environment to drive project success.
• Learn and adapt: Learn techniques from your trainer, building on existing skills and showing a desire to grow.
• Maintain professional worksite: Ensure a clean, organized, and professional worksite, paying attention to detail and problem-solving for customers.
• Work with office staff: Order and track parts, materials, and time spent on services.
