DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking an Automatic Door Technician to install and repair a wide range of automatic doors and door hardware in the Lake Charles/Lafayette, LA area. Candidates with mechanical and electrical aptitude and experience with access control, hollow metal, or auto doors are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical and electrical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder. Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• AAADM Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or repair a wide range of automatic doors and door hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding and revolving doors
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Other duties as assigned
