Job summary

Lane Valente Industries is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Service Technician to support repairs, maintenance, and installation of ADA operators, manual, and automatic doors. AAADM certification is preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in automatic door installation or service, carpentry skills for door/windows installation, and a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as an automatic door installer or service technician.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, panic hardware.
• Carpentry-partition framing metal/wood studs; installation of doors/windows.
• Experience with commercial doors, storefronts, and related hardware.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under time constraints.
• Team player with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront, and automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors.
• Service a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
• Utilize carpentry skills for partition framing with metal/wood studs and the installation of doors and windows.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and handle commercial doors, hardware, and emergency devices.
• Manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with others or independently.
• Ensure attention to detail and adherence to processes, delivering strong customer service.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and support team goals.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: Automatic Door Service Technician
Experienced technician for service of automatic doors. AAADM certified preferred. Ability to perform repairs/replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront and automatic folding, swing, sliding doors.

Tradesperson must have knowledge and / or experience with the following skills:

PROFICIENT KNOWLEDGE:

• Service of a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices
• 2+ years’ experience as an automatic door installer or service technician
• AAADM certification a plus
