Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to inspect equipment and identify defects or causes of issues.
• Logical reasoning and problem-solving in routine manufacturing or repair.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and repair procedures.

• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Experience with small hand tools, pneumatic tools, cordless tools, or similar equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand basic mechanical concepts.
• Ability to learn multiple production processes and adapt to changing assignments.
• Ability to follow safety requirements and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard work instructions to assemble, disassemble, repair, inspect, and test tools.
• Perform repairs per quality standards and production requirements.
• Meet daily production goals and quotas.
• Identify, document, and communicate quality defects.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards and production specs.
• Complete production, repair, inspection, and quality documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
• Cross-train in multiple production, assembly, and inspection tasks.
• Use hand, pneumatic, and cordless tools and testing equipment.
• Read and follow blueprints and assembly procedures.
• Inspect equipment for defects and root causes.
• Maintain attendance and overtime as needed.
• Collaborate with team to achieve goals.
