Job summary

Armstrong World Industries in Hilliard, Ohio, is seeking a Production Operator to safely start up, operate, and shut down highly automated manufacturing equipment on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

You will follow daily production schedules, perform basic equipment checks, and uphold top safety, quality, and cost standards. The role offers hourly pay from $23.69 to $24.69 plus shift differentials, benefits from day one, and incentive/merit opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must perform essential duties safely and reliably.
• Overtime may be required.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
• Lean/process improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely start up, operate and shutdown production equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance checks on production equipment.
• Read and adhere to daily production schedules.
• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas.
• Handle materials safely through production flow.
