Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks an Automated Logistical Specialist to organize storage, supervision of stock, and maintenance data for efficient mission planning. You will learn supply chain basics, including storage, distribution, and warehouse management within the Guard.

Training spans 10 weeks of Basic Training and 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT), with real pay during drill weekends and access to tuition assistance and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Stock control and accounting procedures.
• Procedures for shipping, receiving, storing and issuing stock.
• Movement, storage and maintenance of ammunition.
• Procedures for handling medical and food supplies.

Responsibilities

• Construct bins, shelving and other storage aids.
• Simplify and standardize the collection and use of maintenance data.
• Raise the quality and accuracy of performance, cost, and parts data through improved maintenance management.
