Job summary

Tag Systems is seeking a full-time 1st Shift Automated Insertion Machine Operator in West Valley, UT. You will join our production team, learn our SOPs, and perform tasks with accuracy and safety.

You will operate automated insertion machinery, transfer materials between stations, log job audits, inspect finished products, maintain equipment, keep the work area clean, and support inventory counts and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Must follow SOPs and maintain safety standards.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality checks.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Clear written communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Punctual and reliable attendance.
• Commitment to safety and secure work environment.
• Experience operating production machinery is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated insertion machinery according to safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Transfer materials between workstations.
• Complete accurate job audit logs.
• Inspect completed products for quality control.
• Maintain and clean equipment to keep it in good condition.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory counts as directed.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE AS OUR 1ST SHIFT PERSONALIZATION MACHINE OPERATOR

This role requires close attention to detail, a drive for accuracy, and a commitment to keeping yourself and others safe. Experience would be a bonus, but a willingness to learn and an openness to trying new things are even more important. You will:

• Operate machinery according to company's safety, quality, and production procedures
• Cleanly transfer materials between workstations
• Complete accurate job audit logs
• Inspect completed products for quality control
• Clean and maintain the equipment to keep it in good condition
• Keep your work area clean and organized
• Assist with inventory counts as directed
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned

1ST SHIFT PERSONALIZATION MACHINE OPERATOR SCHEDULE

You’ll typically work from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Some overtime or Saturday work may be required.
