Job summary

UC Health in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a full-time Autoimmune Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in the Specialty Pharmacy. The role supports patient care under medical direction, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and engages in research, education, and project management.

A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered. The position requires ASHP residency experience, Ohio pharmacist licensure eligibility, and a strong background in specialty pharmacotherapy.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency.
• Preference for ASHP-accredited PGY2 and/or fellowship in specialty area.
• Significant research contributions and MUE activity in specialty practice.
• Recognition as an expert in the field through service, presentations or publications.
• Licensed or eligible to practice as a pharmacist in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate drug therapy for appropriateness, effectiveness, safety, adherence and affordability.
• Develop and communicate pharmacotherapy plans with prescribers; document changes.
• Monitor and adjust therapy to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in rapid response, CDI, and quality improvement activities.
• Contribute to development of ordersets, protocols, and clinical pathways.
