Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Engineering Technician, Autoclave at the Riverside facility to oversee, operate, and control multiple Autoclaves during curing of composite and metal bonded structures.

The role operates Monday–Friday on 2nd shift (2:00PM–10:30PM) onsite, with responsibilities including documentation, quality checks, and process improvements. Candidates must have a diploma/AA/AS and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or AA/AS with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience operating and maintaining machines with consistent data flow.
• Experience in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate Autoclaves to support manufacturing activities.
• Review technical data/production specs to write and edit recipes.
• Ensure bonded structures meet cure specifications.
• Generate cure reports for individual parts.
• Adjust load configurations to improve cure quality.
• Provide support and direction to team members.
• Communicate with various programs on priorities.
• Assist support functions with process improvements.
• Manage and update Autoclave Tracker.
• Handle most issues within the department.
• Follow safe work practices and company policy.
