Belt Engineering, LLC is looking for a CAD Technician to work with engineers to coordinate permit documents from conception through construction in Tampa, FL. The role requires alignment with building code requirements and close collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Candidates should have strong CAD drafting experience, especially in structural drafting, and be proficient in Word, Excel, AutoCAD and Revit. This is a Full-Time position based in Tampa with a satellite office in Orlando.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional CAD drafting experience.
• Structural drafting is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, AutoCAD and Revit preferred.

Mansioni

• Coordinate and prepare permit documents from conception through construction.
• Work with engineers to execute the client’s vision per building code requirements.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project accuracy.
• Maintain accurate project documentation.

Our CAD Technicians work directly with our engineers to coordinate and prepare permit documents from conception through construction. Our CAD Technicians work with clients alongside our Professional Engineers to execute the client’s vision in accordance with the building code requirements.

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Tampa, FL

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience


• Structural Drafting (required)


• Architectural Drafting (preferred)

Belt Engineering is licensed in multiple states to meet the needs of our clients. We perform structural, threshold, and stormwater inspections within the Central Florida Region.
